Dan Kennedy and Michael Cain met as opposing counsel, but became friends and then co-officed together for four years before combining their practices into Kennedy & Cain. Together, they draw on each other’s experience to enhance their representation of clients.
We feature business formation, licensing and litigation. We also practice landlord tenant law, criminal defense and estate planning. Take a closer look at our practice areas listed below.
Business law constitutes the biggest portion of Dan’s legal practice. Dan has represented large and small businesses and continues to combine transaction work with litigation. His practice also includes landlord/tenant law, wills and trusts and appeals. Click for full bio.
Michael has experience representing doctors, clinics, health care providers, childcare centers, non-profit agencies, contractors, interpreting agencies, restaurants, grocery stores, and various manufactures. Click for full bio.
Michael was able to successfully assist a client by defending against a bogus attempt to pierce his company’s corporate veil. As a result, his personal assets are safe.
At trial, Dan demonstrated in housing court that our client’s landlord was overcharging rent. Instead of being evicted, the tenant ended up paying less per month. In a follow-up case, the court credited Dan’s “withering cross-examination” in denying relief to the same landlord.
